As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 336 people, 130 households, and 86 families residing in the town. The population density was 893.5 inhabitants per square mile (341.4/km2). There were 143 housing units at an average density of 380.3 per square mile (145.3/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.60% of the population.
There were 130 households out of which 31.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were married couples living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.1% were non-families. 25.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 3.11.
In the town the population was spread out with 25.6% under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 30.7% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 14.0% who were 65 years of age or older.
